RATP & PKTRONICS

In 2019, RATP is undertaking the renovation of certain stations such as Gare de Lyon. The operation costs €4M and focuses mainly on the renovation of walls and ceilings as well as the improvement of signage with a new device on the platform to announce the position of an approaching short train and the replacement of passenger information screens.

RATP undertook exchanges with PKTRONICS about the characteristics of a new LCD screen to replace the CRT screen. PKTRONICS then sent itsDIS200029 screen following the customer’s requirements (size, IP, connectivity, etc.) to be tested and validated by the RATP qualification department.

After a phase of tests, the PKTRONICS screen is validated, then the first order of 35 screens out of approximately 200 screens is placed

These 35 screens are then deployed in the Gare de Lyon.
