PKTRONICS GROUP is pleased to announce its recent acquisition by MILEXIA, a European leader in the sale of high-tech components, systems and scientific instruments, with offices and warehouses in France, Italy, Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom.

This acquisition is part of the PKTRONICS group’s desire to expand its expertise beyond France more rapidly, by benefiting from Milexia’s reputation and visibility, while increasing its current possibilities. The priority given to customers and suppliers is a common value of the PKTRONICS group and MILEXIA, guaranteeing to our interlocutors partners bringing expertise and a real added value to the manufactured and marketed products.

PKTRONICS has an in-depth knowledge of the Hirel components market as well as the aeronautics, marine, space, defence and industrial markets, enabling MILEXIA to provide more value-added services to its customers and suppliers. MILEXIA, with the support of its investors Société Générale Capital Partenaires, Bpifrance and Isatis Capital, is making its 4th acquisition in the last 3 years and has reached a turnover of €100M generated by more than 160 employees in Europe.

Pascal Gandolfini, President of MILEXIA comments:

“With this acquisition, MILEXIA adds 20 new skilled team members and over €9M in sales to reach our €100M revenue plan, double that of 3 years ago. In addition, we strengthen our technical manufacturing capabilities, as the acquisition of PKTRONICS also provides an additional laboratory for the assembly and development of products in the field of IT and will complement our existing technical competencies in the fields of Satcoms, RF and Timing. Being able to conclude this acquisition during this pandemic period without sacrificing our organic growth is a great achievement for the people of MILEXIA and confirms the resilience of our business model.

Patrice Kauffmann, President and founder of PKTRONICS said:

“I am very pleased and excited that PKTRONICS is joining MILEXIA. We did not suffer from the current crisis, on the contrary 2020 was a record year for PKTRONICS, but this operation will create long term value for all parties through greater diversification and excellent complementarity. We both share the same corporate culture, built around our employees, customers, suppliers and the pursuit of service excellence. The strong positioning of PKTRONICS in mission critical components: sensors, Hi-rel components, converters, industrial IT integration and the development of specific products in all these fields reinforce MILEXIA’s position as a major player in Europe.

We strongly hope that the dynamism and the dimension brought by MILEXIA, in the respect of the expertise which made the success of PKTRONICS, will encourage you to entrust us with even more projects. The pursuit of loyal, trusting and long-lasting relationships remains our absolute ambition.
