TRACO Electronic AG is a Swiss company based in Baar near Zurich. Specializing in power conversion with more than 35 years of experience, TRACO designs, develops and manufactures high quality and reliable DC/DC and AC/DC power conversion products.

TRACOPOWER’s mission is to provide its customers with optimum power solutions in terms of performance, quality and cost for each individual application.

The PKTRONICS group has been providing technical and commercial support for the company in France for more than 13 years.

Since its creation Traco Power focuses on the industrial field but is also very present in the following markets: Transport & Rail, Medical & Health, Automation & Control, Renewable Energy and Smart Grid.

TRACO has one of the most comprehensive ranges of standard power conversion products on the market:

DC/DC converters, 1-300 W
Encapsulated AC / DC power supplies, 2-100 W
AC/DC power supplies in housing, 15-1000 W
Power supplies for DIN rail mounting, 15-1000 W
High power converters up to 22 kW

REACH regulation and ROHS declaration

Since July 2006, TRACO POWER has implemented the production of all its power supplies and DC converters in full compliance with the European RoHS directive, relating to the restriction of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (2002/95/EC). Only those products that have been withdrawn from the sales program (obsolete products) are excluded from this directive. The European RoHS Directive and the Chinese RoHS Directive list identical substances and MCVs (Maximum Concentration Values). TRACO POWER’s current RoHS declaration is therefore in compliance with the European RoHS Directive as well as the Chinese RoHS Directive. However, TRACO POWER products are generally not subject to the REACH Directive. You can find the certificates in the “resources” section.
