LUMINA POWER Inc. manufactures a complete line of laser diode drivers, laser power supplies, capacity chargers and xenon arc lamp power supplies. The main applications are medical lasers, pulsed light, digital projection, laser welding. The product categories can be characterized as follows:
- Driver for laser diode: very low emission, power up to 350 Amps
- Capacity charger: highest EMC standards, PFC>0.99, outputs from 3500j/sec to 6000j/sec
- Power supplies for xenon or mercury arc: 150 to 6000 W (xenon), 650 to 5000 W (mercury)
- AC/DC power supplies: 1000 to 13,500 W, output up to 200 Vdc
- Custom products: e.g. IGBT discharge card, flash lamp driver with auxiliary outputs…
ROHS regulation
The European RoHS Directive (2002/95/EC) (Restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment) aims to limit the use of six hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Lumina Power holds ROHS certification and follows the associated rules in the development of its products.
