Magnetic sensor for harsh environment (shocks, vibrations)
The magnetic sensor we develop for this company is used on the cab tilting systems of heavy trucks to gain access to the engine. It is used to detect whether the cab lock is securely in place.
The sensor integrates the switching element and the associated magnet. The model was chosen for its ease of use, its resistance to shock and vibration and its wide temperature range.
It is connected to the electrical system by a waterproof, automotive-grade connector and allows simple detection of the position of the lock by an open or closed contact.
This type of assembly (sensor + connector + protection) is made to measure and can be made even for average quantities of a few thousand parts at competitive prices.
